Miley Postpones College
After graduating high school, Miley takes a recess for a while before going to college. According to the Q100 Bert show, Miley wants to focus on her career for now. Her grandmother is her example that one can persue higher education later in life. She said, "I am a firm believer that you can go back at any age you want because my grandma went back to college at the age of 62." I guess Miley totally cannot be tamed.

Red Carpet Buzz: Sienna Miller
Two weeks ago, Matthew Williamson launched alimited-edition kaftan to promote Belvedere’s new pink-grapefruit flavor ( see it on Leigh Lezark, who served as muse for the project). And last night, the designer hosted a bash in honor of the collaboration at his Bruton Street boutique in London. Attendees included Twiggy, Little Boots, Peaches Geldof, and Sienna Miller, who wore a metallic draped dress by (of course) Williamson.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Replaces Megan Fox in T3
The 23-year-old Victoria's Secret model, dubbed ELLE magazine's 2009 "Model of the Year," is a newcomer to acting - but not to "Transformers" director Michael Bay, who directed his latest starlet in a commercial for the lingerie line last year.Rosie will play a new character opposite Shia LaBeouf's character, Sam Witwicky, in the summer 2011 sequel. The British bombshell was among a number of women rumored to be in line for the role, which also includedGemma Arterton, Ashley Greene and fellow modelBrooklyn Decker. "The Hills" star Heidi Montag made a play for the role as well, Tweeting messages to Bay and posting a video of herself at a shooting range to try and show off her action skills. As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, news broke earlier this month that Megan would not be returning to the franchise that made her famous.
At the time, Megan's rep told Access that she had made the decision "not to return," but according to Deadline, the choice was "ultimately" Bay's.Either way, it won't leave Rosie much time to prepare for the role - "Transformers 3" has already begun filming to meet its planned July 1, 2011 release date. According to IMDB, it will be the model's acting debut.
WAIT: Does that mean Rosie is hotter than Megan Fox? hoho. We'll see about that.

iPad Is Killing Netbooks
A new survey shows consumers are "overwhelmingly leaning" toward the iPad instead of netbooks, and cheap laptops are also taking a toll on netbook sales. The study, which surveyed more than 1,000 U.S. consumers, was commissioned by consumer electronics site Retrevo.
Apple's iPad has proven popular with shoppers, as more than one million devices have already been sold. That popularity is hurting netbook sales, says the survey, as the iPad offers many of the same advantages that netbooks offer over a traditional laptop, such as higher portability and longer battery life.
The Retrevo survey asked consumers whether they are planning on buying an iPad or a netbook: 78 percent said they would be choosing an iPad, while only 22 percent would choose a netbook.
Respondents were asked whether they held off on buying a netbook after Apple CEO Steve Jobs unveiled the iPad in January. 30 percent answered that they did, and consequently bought an iPad, while 40 percent did hold back but eventually bought a netbook instead. 30 percent of respondents said they did not hold back and just bought a netbook.
Regular laptops are still popular with U.S. consumers, the survey shows, especially the cheap lower-end models. 65 percent said they would go for a laptop instead of a netbook when faced with the choice this year.
Those who preferred netbooks over laptops or iPads said that the main feature that attracted them to a netbook was the smaller footprint of the machines (55 percent), while 20 percent considered price, and 19 percent considered battery life as the main trait.
Analysts say however, that the iPad won't cripple sales of netbooks, at least not this year, mainly because the $200 or so gap in pricing between the two types of devices. Jeff Orr, an analyst with ABI Research, reportedly said earlier this month that just one percent of potential netbook buyers would be impacted by tablets, like the iPad.

American Idol Season 9 Winner
American Idol Season 9 was said to be a "girls' season" but before the season ended only one girl, Crystal Bowersox, was left. With obvious favoritism (especially Simon) with Lee DeWyze, no doubt he could possibly win this season, in which he did. :D Lee got a "Hallelujah moment" singing with an eight-member choir. Despite deliveringdrastically worse performances than Crystal on Tuesday, Lee DeWyze won Season 9 on Wednesday night.

The Pretty Reckless on Spotlight
The Pretty Reckless is an alternative rock band from New York that was formed and is fronted by American actress and model Taylor Momsen. The band was originally going to be called "The Reckless", but was changed to The Pretty Reckless due to trademark problems.Frontwoman Taylor Momsen formed the band in 2009 with John Secolo on guitar, Matt Chiarelli on bass, and Nick Carbone on drums. In 2009, they opened for The Veronicas on their North American tour.
Today, Momsen is the only original member left in the band, with Ben Philips on guitar, Mark Damon on bass, and Jamie Perkins on drums.
Momsen stated in an interview with OK! Magazine that the band signed with Interscope Records and would be releasing their debut album later in 2010. In another interview Momsen briefly discussed the sound of the band, saying it would be "not what people are going to expect" and will feature a dark and heavy sound but would have "lighter, fun stuff as well." In an interview with MTV, Momsen revealed the influences on the band include The Beatles, and Audioslave, along with many grunge bands, such as Soundgarden, and Nirvana. She also stated that her personal influences also include Debbie Harry, Joan Jett, Cherie Currie and Courtney Love.
On December 30, 2009, the band released a new promo song entitled "Make Me Wanna Die". The song was uploaded for free download to fans on their Interscope Records website, but is no longer available for free. The band launched "Make Me Wanna Die" on the soundtrackto the 2010 film Kick-Ass. The song was the band's first single, and was released on May 17, 2010, with the debut album coming in August. On April 9, 2010, they performed during the "Vans Warped Tour 2010 Kick-Off Party" and performed on the Bamboozle Music Festival on May 1, 2010. They will be playing the entire Warped Tour 2010. Joe Jonas Breaks Up With Demi Lovato
They're done.
After just a few months of dating, Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato have called it quits, both stars confirmed Monday.
But despite earlier reports, the breakup didn't happen over the phone, Lovato says. "There are so many crazy rumors flying around today," Lovato Tweeted. "Joe and I did split, but it wasn't over the phone. Things didn't work out but we'll remain friends."
"Demi and I knew going into our romantic relationship that it may not be an easy one," Jonas says in a statement to UsMagazine.com. "I realize over the time we have shared together that I feel I care more about our friendship right now. It was my choice to breakup, but I love her as a friend. She's been there for me when I needed her. I will continue to be her friend and be there for her."
(Jonas has ended at least once relationship via phone: back in November 2008, Jonas' ex Taylor Swift admitted he dumped her during a "27 second" phone call a month before.)
Lovato, 17, met Jonas, 20, in 2007 on the set of Disney channel series Camp Rock. The pair finally acknowledged their romance in a March radio interview with Access Hollywood's Billy Bush.
The former couple will still have to deal with one another this summer: they're set to tour together this summer.
Just last week, Lovato gushed to Us that Jonas was "my first serious relationship...He knows me better than I know myself, and I know him better than he knows himself."
"She's a strong girl," a source close to the couple says, adding that the breakup isn't "necessarily" forever. "They are so young...I wouldn't count them out yet."
Lovato also shot down reports that she's already seeing someone new post-Joe. "I am NOT dating anybody already," she Tweeted. "Nothing is more important to me than the relationship I have with my fans."

Eclipse Strays Away From the Book
In the latest "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" preview, the familiar faces of Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner are missing. Instead, the 40-second clip features Dakota Fanning's Jane and her fellow Volturi vampires in a scene that's unique to the movie. It's a clear indication that the Volturi will be getting more screen time in the film than they do in the novel, where they only appear in Forks at the very end after the vampire-werewolf battle subsides.
"Eclipse" once again finds Bella's life in peril as Victoria's legion of newborn bloodsuckers draws ever-closer to Forks. But even before they reach Bella, the just-turned vamps' wild actions in Seattle attract the attention of the formidable Volturi coven, who, as we can recall from "New Moon," do not take light of activities that threaten to expose the vampire community.
Don't let Dakota Fanning's doll-like face fool you! In the latest "Eclipse" clip, we quickly learn that Fanning's Jane is not to be messed with. Watch the clip below:

Kristen Stewart is Elle's June Cover Girl
On the madness that has become her life: “It’s insane! Once somebody finds out, you have to get the hell out of wherever you are. People freak out. And the photographers, they’re vicious. They’re mean. They’re like thugs. I don’t event want to drive around by myself anymore. It’s fucking dangerous.”
On her loss of privacy: “Somebody knocked on my hotel room door and asked for a light, then said that they were a big fan. I was like, ‘Do you really need me to light your cigarette? How do you know what room I’m in?’ I can’t be by myself and I likebeing by myself.”
(Courtesy of Elle)
On criticism of her public manner: “I think it’s funny that when I go onstage to accept an award, they think I’m nervous, uncomfortable, and awkward—and I am—but those are bad words for them.”
On her red-carpet demeanor: “People say that I’m miserable all the time. It’s not that I’m miserable, it’s just that somebody’s yelling at me…I literally, sometimes, have to keep myself from crying…It’s a physical reaction to the energy that’s thrown at you.”
On caring: “I hate it when they say I don’t give a shit, because nobody cares more than I do. I’m telling you I don’t know anybody who does this that gives a shit more than I do.”
On Team Edward vs. Team Jacob: “I would never cheapen my relationships by talking about them. People say, ‘Just say who you’re dating. Then people will stop being so ravenous about it.’ It’s like, No they won’t! They’ll ask for specifics.”
